Colonel Sidney R. Hinds, MD, MC, US Army National Director became DVBIC’s national director on July 1, 2013. Previously, he was the deputy director of the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute for Military Medical Operations, the in-theater neurologist in Afghanistan, and chief of Nuclear Medicine Services at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. He was the nuclear medicine integration chief for the Base Realignment and Closure process that combined the former Walter Reed Army Medical Center and National Naval Medical Center.
